The Brazier is a cast iron open container with a fire lit inside, which is a part of every ship, normally located against a wall or mast. Its purpose is to create Heated Shot.
By picking up a Cannon Ball and placing it in the brazier with M1, then allowing it to sit for 3 minutes, that cannonball will become a Heated Shot. Three cannonballs at a time can be heated, and until this time is up, it cannot be accessed again. When the 3 minutes has passed, pressing E allows you to pick up the Heated Shot, which can then be loaded into any Cannon which already has Gunpowder inside it.
It can also be stood on to allow for easier headshots, or jumped on while attempting to dodge enemy gunfire.
